Supply and demand sets price? No way!
I do think that RH would be able to get a premium price for his port. Top 100 ports don't come up for sale that often.
But it's also a lot easier to make money now than it was a few years ago. Share ownership was limited to 50,000 per moviestock, the halt was on Friday making openers much riskier, and there were no .OWs. Overtaking dormant ports is a lot quicker now, so more traders can see a path to the top 100 than before - though it still takes a few years to get there.
There was a port in the top 10 that sold for several hundred a while back - I don't remember the exact price. It's now languishing at #39, as a lesson for anyone who buys a port and skips the learning curve of how to manage it.
