Description
An man who has lived two lives as an actor, Rupert Everett was barely a blip in Hollywood during the late 80's and early 90's. After beginning a promising career with a stage role in the 1982 production of Another Country, Everett landed the lead role in the film in 1984, and soon became one of Britain's most talked-about stars. No sooner had Everett established himself, that he began to alienate his audience with outrageous tabloid behavior. Coupled with a few box office failures, Everett's reputation relegated him to a has-been. Everett revived his career in 1994, with his role in The Madness of King George. Three years later, he wowed audiences and critics as Julia Roberts' confidant in My Best Friend's Wedding. Everett's supporting role in 1998's Shakespeare in Love cemented his come-back.
