The on-demand version, which is expected to be distributed as a series of 30 minute episodes, will include the four main characters of the original along with a handful of new characters.
Gavin Polone, producer of the original film, which starred Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg and Emma Stone, told Broadcast that he was now developing the project with Amazon.
