MEW: non-specific production start date for today's IPO Black Mass [BMASS]
BLACK MASS - May, 2013; Details Are only Available By Subscription.. STORY: The film is based on true story about James "Whitey" Bulger, an Irish street punk in Boston with a penchant for rape and robbery, spent much of his early life incarcerated, including a stint at Alcatraz in the 1950's where he was the subject of a CIA experiment using LSD for mind-control. When released, Whitey returned to his thug lifestyle and eventually rose to power in organized crime by using his FBI informant status to bring down the Italian mafia in New England. He and his fellow hood Steve Flemmi, fed incriminating information on the Italian mob to FBI agents John J. Connolly Jr. and Dick Morris, allowing them to make highly publicized arrests while Bulger filled the void in the upper echelon of Boston organized crime. Whitey Bulger reigned as crime boss into the 1990's until a corruption investigation disgraced Morris, who admitted to taking bribes from Bulger and, with Connolly's alleged assistance, aided and abetted criminal activities involving narcotics, extortion, and murder. Bulger escaped arrest and has been missing ever since. He remains on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted List. (Posted: February 6, 2013)

Take it up with the script writer :) {nm} PVL Admin on Feb 23, 11:30
Pass - Just saying. {nm} RotoHockeyYTD2013 on Feb 23, 11:55
HUGE lie. {nm} jjmarino on Feb 23, 14:06
Which one - the FBI List or the attorney statement in front of U.S. District Court Judge Richard G. Stearns. {nm} RotoHockeyYTD2013 on Feb 23, 18:46
The attorney. Bulger's old FBI handler is in prison for crimes committed while handling Bulger. So, I say: perjure-iffic. {nm} jjmarino on Feb 23, 20:29
Wouldn't that be something if the 'true story' was not much of a 'true story'. {nm} RotoHockeyYTD2013 on Feb 23, 21:05
Read the story again. Whitey's lawyer is going to claim that Whitey is immune from prosecution BECAUSE he was an FBI informant. jjmarino on Feb 23, 21:19
You will just have to wait for the June trial. Although you are free to keep speculating all you want. RotoHockeyYTD2013 on Feb 23, 21:37
Read the story again. {nm} jjmarino on Feb 24, 08:32
If pleaing and presenting a client's innocence is perjury, then many defense lawyers would be guilty. {nm} Antibody on Feb 24, 10:17
Yes. I retract "perjure." But roto implied that a statement made before a judge (by a defense atty) should not be doubted. {nm} jjmarino on Feb 24, 12:13
Never implied that at all. You incorrectly inferred that. Simply stated the facts & corrected the inaccurate MEW info. {nm} RotoHockeyYTD2013 on Feb 24, 13:04
