Why did Apes2 decide to do away with James Franco? His character and his relationship with Caesar WAS the heart of the first film. Risky.

I don't care for it. What are they going to do, jump ahead in time or something? 

This is disppointing to me. I've really been looking forward to this film. Now? I don't know.

And it's not the same director? What gives?
