And the "Pirates of the Caribbean" ride—as slender a premise as any video game would have to offer—yielded around 1.3 good movies of the four made so far. But the circulation of cultural properties through the various divisions of a conglomerate seem to me a great fraud ("you've read the book based on the movie based on the game... now buy the sheet music for the musical based on the book based on the movie based on the game").
I did see the first Tomb Raider though I've never played any version of the game, and apart from its poses and its poster I don't remember any of it.
