Pretty much this. Kids movies always have strong cinemascores, driven by the kids themselves (even the last Alvin+Chipmunks movie got an A-)

NICEG is an interesting one because it has an 8.0 ranking on IMDb and 84% from the audience on RT. So it seems to be connecting with people

the rentrak data for Nice Guys (which is more comprehensive than cinemascore) is pretty close to 80% positive feedback which is good.

And Cinemascore is only from first day shows. NICEG core audience doesn't rush out opening day.
