Inside Film and Encore Magazine are this week reporting that the Mad Max 4 shoot has been postponed to early 2011. The reason for the delay has not been specified, although Director George Miller has confirmed the film will be shot in stereoscopic 3D, with purpose built rigs. He hopes to be able to develop a rig which allows the cameras to be much more mobile, allowing for some stunning 3D action sequences. Miller has always used his films to push forward technology, in films such as Babe (animatronics/CG), Happy Feet (CG animation/motion capture).
