Description
In preparation for The Phantom Menace, George Lucas is said to have scoured Europe and North America for two years, searching for the perfect child to cast as the young Darth Vader. Lucas ultimately chose Jake Llyod, veteran of the 1996 films Jingle All the Way and Unhook the Stars. Prior to his work on the big screen, Lloyd has had a recurring role as Jimmy Sweet on the NBC series ER, in which he plays a boy who visits his terminally ill mother in the hospital.
