Description
David Lynch's Mulholland Drive was originally slated to be a TV series, but the pilot was never picked up due to its violent content. Now a feature film, Mulholland Drive tells the story of a woman abandoned on Mulholland Drive after an automobile accident. Suffering from amnesia, the befuddled woman finds her way to a nearby apartment where an aspiring actress takes her in and helps her piece her life back together. Starring Laura Herring, Justin Theroux, and Naomi Watts. Lynch is well-known for his dark and eccentric stories and directorial style, which were embraced by the mainstream with his popular TV series Twin Peaks. The director's innovative and eclectic body of work includes The Straight Story, Blue Velvet, Lost Highway, Wild at Heart, The Elephant Man, Dune and Eraserhead.
