Description

The sports documentary Once in a Lifetime tells the extraordinary story of the New York Cosmos, a 1970’s soccer team responsible for bringing Brazilian superstar Pele to the US. The documentary highlights the decadent era and the rise and fall of this team. Matt Dillon narrates the film directed by Paul Crowder and John Dower. Soccer greats like Franz Beckenbauer, Giorgia Chinaglia, Rodney Marsh and Pele are featured in the documentary which screened at the 2006 Berlin Film Festival.
