Shadow of the Vampire is a film that recreates the making of 1922's German horror classic, Nosferatu, a Symphony of Horror. The early German film was surrounded by several bizarre incidents during its filming, including the disappearance and death of a few of its crew members. Nosferatu director F.W. Murnau will be played by John Malkovich, while the lead actor of the film, Max Schrek, will be played by Willem Dafoe.
Options are short term investment opportunities based around a specific event. Typically options are released opening weekend of a particular MovieStock. This form of speculation takes the form of "calls" and "puts" and last only for opening weekend.
Put
A put option is the opposite of a call option. A put speculates that the related movie will have a lower box office take for its opening weekend than the strike price. A $20 put has a strike price of $20, and will cash out at zero if the movie makes more than $20 million or more during opening weekend. If the film makes less than $20 million it will cash out at a price determined by the following formula: (Strike Price - Actual Box Office). For Example if the film made $15 million the put would cash out at H$5.00 (H$20 - H$15).
