Description

Sorry, Haters is a film about post 9/11 America. Robin Wright Penn plays Phoebe, a troubled career woman who steps into a cab driven by an Arab immigrant, Ashade, played by Abdel Kechiche. Phoebe and Ashade eventually take up a delicate relationship based on mutual needs. Phoebe needs Ashade to help her get revenge on her nemesis, while Ashade has to help his brother get back into the country. Elodie Bouchez plays the wife of the brother and Sandra Oh plays Phoebe’s nemesis. The film is written and directed by Jeff Stanzler.
