Description
Billed as an offbeat romantic comedy, What Women Want stars Mel Gibson as male chauvinist who can suddenly hear what women are thinking after he has an accident. Helen Hunt stars as one woman along with Lauren Holly, Marisa Tomei, and Bette Midler. The film is written and directed by Nancy Meyers, who follows up her 1998 directorial debut, The Parent Trap. Meyers has writing credits on several films, including both Father of the Bride movies and 1994's I Love Trouble.
