work towards creating an entertaining spy in the fashion of Bond, not to turn Bond into something he clearly is not. Hollywood should stop with the "re-imaginings" and instead get more creative and start some new characters that will stand the test of time just like Bond has that have ddiverse characteristics.
Changing an existing character is ALWAYS the lazy way of inventing a new one.
