...That is pure fanboy anger that conplains about that stuff. But fundamentally changing a character that has long been in existance seems silly to me. Eventually James Bond can be any color they choose to make him but if they try to tell me that he doesn't like chicks after he's spent 30 years chasing skirts just fundamentally changes him. I say make a gay spy, not make a character that has based his entire career on being a lady's man not be into ladies just doesn't make sense.
I will always land on the side that asks for new characters before landing on the side that just regurgitates old characters and force-fots them into trendy categories.
