How much is that worth for someone who is functionally illiterarte but can play sports real well, does not go to classes, does not
write their own papers, may not even take their own tests and then leaves with no pro job?
These "scholar" athletes are being used. Don't buy into the "free education" hype. For every Shaquille Oneil who earns a PHD, there are thousands who drop out as soon as football season is done and are no better than when they went in.
