Description

The Mexican film Innocent Voices is set in the mid 1980’s during El Salvador’s bloody civil war. A 12-year-old boy, played by Carlos Padilla, must either enlist for the army or join the guerilla movement. Padilla wrote the screenplay with director Luis Mandoki. Leonor Varela, Xuna Primus and Gustavo Munoz co-star in the film which screened at the 2004 Toronto Film Festival.
