Lionsgate has dropped the second trailer for the thriller Fall 2: Deadpoint [FALL2], a sequel with a new cast. Harriet Slater and Arsema Thomas star as two tourist doing a climb in Thailand when a rockslide trapped them thousands of feet above the ground. The two must overcome their fears and fight for survival.  Directed by the Spierig Brothers, Fall 2: Deadpoint hits theaters on September 2nd.

Sony has released the teaser trailer for the adeventure sequel  Jumanji: Open World [JUMN3].   Dwayne Johnson [TROCK], Kevin Hart [KHART], Jack Black [JBLAC], and Karen Gillan [KGILL] reunite for final installment of the trilogy.  The vieodgame characters have escaped from the jungles of Jumanji game and crossed over into the real world.  Jumanji: Open World  arrives in theaters on Christmas Day.

Amazon has released the teaser trailer for the Biblical epic The Chosen S6 [TCS61], written, directed, and produced by 5&2 Studios’ Dallas Jenkins. A24 has unleashed the second trailer for the actioner Onslaught [ONSLT]. Adria Arjona [AARJO] stars as an Army veteran who must protect her young daughter from a rogue squad of genetically engineered super soldiers, led by MMA UFC fighter Alex Pereira.  Onslaught is set in the same town and world as The Guest, also directed by Adam Wingard [AWING].  Onslaught hits theaters on September 4th.

Remaining full sail ahead at the weekend box office, The Odyssey [ODYSE] stayed in first place with an estimated $87.0 million, losing just 30% of its debut. That’s the best second weekend by director Christopher Nolan beating $75.1 million by 2008’s The Dark Knight. The fantasy epic has accumulated $286.37 million.

Moana [MOAN1] remained in second with $10.5 million, bringing its total to $102.47 million after 3 weekends.
