I agree with both of you, in a way. I'd like for JMT's interpretation to be correct/followed, but feel it's likely that it's about their own
price - otherwise D Mac would have specified further.
Given that a lot was going on at the time, though, it's not entirely possible that it could still be about the price of the underlying movie stock's price. I do find the latter highly unlikely though, hermeneutically.
