So Nickelback is pretty much hated by most people. They really aren't that bad, but they are kind of bland and dull, trying to be badasses, when they really arent.
So in Detroit, Detroit Rock City, home of Motown, people there like their music to be really good, so of course they are annoyed by Nickelback.
