In setting up the schedule, there are the NBC, ESPN and NFLN games which will be the main national games. There is a maximum of 5 for all but 3 teams, with 3 permitted 6. The NFL knows what CBS and FOX schedules look like. They have to make sure the J E T S and Giants do not conflickt. This past year, out of 17 weeks, I think NY had only 5 weekends with only 2 FOX/CBS games (usually 3) and that is big bucks. It all has to mesh before the schedule is released. Even Rosh Hashanna (a Sunday night) has to be taken into account)
NE, GB, NO and SF have earned near maximum exposure. DEN/SD seem Ths the only slightly juicy divisional game, but they play 5 playoff teams so go figure. If they follow the J E T S blueprint, look for these games to be early in the season, in case DEN flops.
In addition, there will be double header games where DEN will get "most of the country" if they are still for real.
Win or lose, Tebow is the story. Until the bubble bursts. Enjoy the ride Tim.
