Well, it has a buttery, flaky crust with cornmeal in it, which isn't like real pizza at all. And it's dish-shaped, not flat.
As for how it tastes - well, I've had it in Chicago, and I found it pretty greasy and salty. But I've also made it at home using a recipe from Cook's Illustrated and it turned out very well. I made it with sausage, and I'll definitely be trying a couple of other variations. But if I can replicate it at home, it can't be *that* good ;)
