meh. i got more important issues to tackle. calling all star wars expanded universe fans! inside please
guys, i have to address something. does it seem to anyone else as though war has been declared against the expanded universe? this new thing about them changing korriban to moruband or whatever the hell it is in the clone wars cartoon is just the latest outrage. what about what they did to the barriss offee character? the medstar novels were high on my list of favorites! bringing darth maul back to life by stealing an idea from a WHAT IF comic? even to the point that the mechanical legs were the same? is there some purpose to what their doing? are they just telling the fans that they'll do whatever they damn well please just because they can? i really dont want to give up on star wars and really they know that everybody is still gonna pay their money to see episode 7 no matter what they do. but what is this? do they do it purely out of spite or what? ive invested 40 years into star wars and now i feel like im just being pissed on and can do nothing about it because they'll make their money no matter what. and whatsmore its true they will make their money, mine included...i understand the money issue, but dont they understand how much more money has been generated in the novels, comics and toys? theres a certain sense of decorum that has been breached...to be fair lucasfilm started it...why should disney be any more respectful.....but their making a BIG mistake. every real fan notices every breach of etiquette...and sooner or later loyalty just wont be enough.
