:) this brought a smile to my face. much of my life I've never really been able to identify with people around me.
for example, I've never sat at a table and had dinner with my mother at home. That's not normal, but that's what it was for me. Where my wife and I live now is a very privileged area with great families. Most of my close friends have great families that did right by them and put them first, I've never known that. I'd be lying if I said it boils me alive that people around don't know what it's like. I get jealous about it all the time.
My reasoning for explaining the above, was to show I can identify with you. The portion you shared (and thank you btw) made me instantly feel a connection of "this guy can understand, this guy can sympathize". Not knowing exactly your situation, but I do know you're constant moving wasn't easy. One trait I formed from the moving was the ability to make friends quick. You've always been outspoken on here and you've been around for years. I do value many people on these boards that stick around and participate in talk back.
Though the internet is easy to troll, I feel like the community on this board is a great group. I'd love to get to know some of you more. I stick around because I like the people and the shared interests. The game isn't near as fun as it used to be, but it's fun to chat with you all when I can.
i appreciate the comment islander. I know we'll meet up someday, we live too close not too. If you want to head down my way I'll drive us to a Reds/Cubs game (my treat). Just let me know and yes there is always football or basketball if you're a fan. It'd be great to get to know you sir!
