Can't Sell Shorted Shares of Stocks

For some reason I cannot sell stocks that I have shorted. I have TRF2 shorted and when I try and dump it it tells me that I don't own the stock even though it is clearly in my portfolio and affecting my money. It is not just that stock either others that I have won't let me sell because it tells me I don't own any shares when I do. Looking for some help here.

you don't "sell" shorted stocks, you "cover" them. Are you clicking "cover"? {nm} remrej Jul 05, 08:01
