Each time I'm selling certain shares held long post midnight reset, its getting executed as a Buy, doubling my holding

Not on all stocks - on some - like Tow, in fact 1 trade on it which went opposite might have been pre midnight reset. ~20K holding went to 41,200 instead of selling out then I tried selling that qty it became 82,400 held long (I checked this time, it wasn't like I pressed Buy by mistake). Have now tried to sell that entire qty not sure what happens as it can't go beyond 150,000 (won't execute?). Could it be the programmed setting for Buy & Sell button positions have gone wrong for some Stocks?
