Do NOT buy stocks that are a long way out from release...
why? Cause it takes up all your money, and you won't have any for playing movies that open soon, etc.
With a small port, it's best to think "short term" think of how to make money quickly, and get in, and get out...move on.
One of the best ways to make $$ quick is to play openers each week....BUT be careful, if you pick'em wrong, you can lose as well..but it's hard to make a lot of $$ this fast in a couple of days if you pick'em right....
Do NOT play star bonds until you know how they adjust. They can also bring you money in a short amount of time, but be sure you know 'how' they adjust and WHEN they adjust.
Play Cold Cash every day, and be sure to take the HSX survey each week...if you win these, then it can add $50K to your port, and with small ports, you can use all the extra $$ you can get...
Remember to think "short term" and move on. When you start to get a lot of $$, THEN you can start investing in movies that are further out from release...
