Happens to be 2 days before the current release date for TREK4 so couple of scenarios.....

They don't think deals for TREK4 are going to come together in time to make the date and want a tentpole that for sure will be ready.

It screened way better than expected.

It screened, went well, but they want more time to tweak it.   I hadn't heard of any test screenings for this though.

They just want more time for various variants of COVID-19 to weaken/family audience to increase.
