Many investors, especially smaller ones, will liquidate their holding post adjust. If they were holding long, they sell. If they were holding short, they cover. This action tends to push the StarBond in the other direction. In addition, those who are anticipating this move push it even further.
I have always referred to this as "the bounce" similar to the "Dead Cat Bonce" on Wall Street. How long to hold? Some will turn around right away, some longer.
A similar bounce takes place on the day after the Sunday weekend opener adjust, almost no matter what movie you are talking about. (AVATR was an exception for its holiday opener.)
Now I love RH and the PABS and what I am about to say is NOT to be construed as any criticism. However, if the next adjust is 3 months, 6 months, a year, evem though PABS says long, the bounce may be short. or vice versa.
Personally, my big port is such that I hold all bonds. Sometimes I code it to bounce and then reverse when they turn around.
But good that you are paying attention to the movement.
