Yes, Amazon owns both of them, but we do not live and die by Boxofficemojo. HSX uses ERC as the official numbers site.

Besides, Boxofficemojo and IMDB have two totally different purposes. Who knows if their databases are shared? Although, I doubt it.

Hmm, obviously I meant this for the Movie board. Most people I see posting BO, always refere to BOMOJO, so that's what I assumed. elchan Feb 23, 12:01

This is true, but it's peer reviewed, errors don't stay uncorrected. Also any changes need to be approved by IMDB staff. {nm} elchan Feb 23, 17:06

I've made changes to a few pages on IMDB, and they don't get in until they are approved. And as for peer review, what stays is usually the elchan Feb 23, 18:34
