My thought on NBC's 5 freshmen....
Monday PBCLUB is up agains HWFIVO and Castle. I really do not believe in this period piece nighttime soap. I look for early hiatus. But NBC will show the 13.
Tuesday...UPALNT up against Survivor (long in the tooth, but still a winner), and the X Factor as well as ABC's MIDDLE. May have a shot at survival, and has the SNL faces (and spouse) to draw people to sample. The battle with MIDDLE may have a lot to say about the winner between FREAGN (which has had little promo) and the hard to pronounce SUBURG (hardest since RELIG ?) FREAGN may be the first to get bounced.
Thursday...WHITNE is either going to really enjoy the lead in from The Office, or the lack of SCARE may make them both on life suppot. WHITNE looks fresh so it could bounce to Tues 830 if FREAGN has a problem. I love cop shows and MBELL not necessarily in that order. What more do I have to say about PRMSPC? Oh yes The Menatlist and Private Practice. What to DVR??? Sorry Simon, MBELL is easier on the eyes and she uses her real accent. This one will be an early renewal.
Yet to IPO is GRIMMM which premieres in October. Gee, I thought CBS Friday was the place for gothic horror.
Sunday...when in doubt, J E T S with 3 prime time games in the first 6 weeks, including opening with the Pokes at newly named MetLife (The Snoopy Dome?)
