The local shire council is having an unpaid rates auction here in November, and there are some good blocks of land that only have between $2,500 and $10,000 of unpaid rates on them. Normally a block of land would sell around here for $40,000 to $50,000 or thereabouts. I'm going to see if I can buy my first block of land on the cheap! Looking forward to it!
