It should be reasonably fair accross D1 at that set level. I wonder what the Title IX implications are though.
I find the change in scholarships length far more interesting. School can now give out scholarships that last longer than 1 year. I wonder how many schools are going to try offering 2, 3 or 4 year guaranteed scholarships as a recruiting tool.
