I didn't really care about her. She barked at the cats throughout half the night from under the floorboards, making the neighbours and my family members angry, and wouldn't shut up when we yelled at her to do so. Whenever we went outside to discipline her, she'd run under the house and hide away from us so we couldn't. She didn't know the meaning of "No!", and so would jump all over my dress pants whenever I had to go out into the backyard to do something during my lunch break, or if she had to be let inside the house because of the building work going on here at the moment. As I said before, I thought that it was a stupid idea getting an energetic dog for a small backyard, especially when nobody was able to take the time to take her for a walk each day. Unfortunately, nobody in my family ever asks for my input before they decide what new pets to get. They never have. But I realise that other members of my family did care, so as much as I didn't care about the dog (and I don't really feel that I have to show that I cared about her if I genuinely didn't), I'm trying to be caring towards them.
