Taylor Swift and Kanye West are both represented by the same agent and people are now saying that this was a planned publicity stunt similar to the planned publicity stunt that Eminem and Bruno did at a previous MTV event and similar to the MTV produced Super Bowl incident involving Justin Timeberlake and Janet Jackson.

Kanye gets street cred for the stunt and Swift gains more fans from the stunt.
