If we assume that nature would favor reproduction, then being attracted to the same sex doesn't work. That doesn't make it wrong, however.
If a male if attracted to other males and subsequently chooses to indentify themself as a woman, then that is their choice. Or, what if they have both male and female genitalia? It should be one's choice that dictates their gender (IMO). That is to say, a person's sex has nothing to do with their gender. This news is saying that beauty pagents are for the female gender, not the female sex.
