Standing in the lobby, enjoying a drink with the family, and then, about 30 minutes before show time, in walks Elvira herself, cleverly disguised as Cassandra Peterson.
It's amazing; she clearly can walk around and almost nobody recognizes her.
ALMOST nobody.
I saw she was with a group of friends, so I didn't wanna bug too much; just said hi, I've loved your work over the years, and my household is filled with fans of her campy horror film humor. She was very sweet, and even posed for a picture with my future daughter in law. A truly special moment.
And the show? Wow. That Jack can play. Lousy sound at the Shrine though. But still, the power shone through enough to get the point across, that Jack White is a virtuoso performer.
Good times tonight.
