Sorry. I'm not the type of person who likes to see a perfectly good question go to waste. It's great to hear of others living the dream and having great success. The only thing that would have made it sweeter would have been if you were part of my core group of friends. That consists of 15 guys and gals I grew up with. But still, because I am aware of your quantum leap up the ladder of success I am able to share the in the wealth of energy an event like this creates.
As for new comets or asteroids. Almost everyday a new asteroid or comet is found that is a potentiall hazardous object. Currently there are 1543 potentially hazardous objects that are known and have been discovered. For almost 8 days now, the last object on JPL's list has stayed the same or has slipped of the chart. The close approach date is October 13, 2013. I've been waiting for Comet ISON to hit the chart so I can post the chart on my facebook page with little fanfare.
