does anyone else think they may have been conned by A&E? this may have been the shrewdest publicity stunt ever.
1: they allow phil to do an interview with GQ, knowing full well what his religious convictions are and what he's likely to say...
2: they suspend phil for saying what they figured hed say, stirring up a national controversy
3: all hell breaks loose on national news, and social media....sponsors threaten to pull duck dynasy items from the shelf....
4: due to outrage over the offense to freedom of speech and religion, sponsors put duck dynasty stuff back on the shelf when everyone wants to buy everything they can get involving DD.
5: eventually A&E "forgives" phil in time for the new season because of fan demand....ratings go up to an alltime high to see his "return" and A&E and retailers and duck dynasty ALL win....
am i paranoid and suspicious? you better believe it. i think my fellow man is a coniving piece of ****. i may be slow but eventually my brain catches up to me
