Two and a half years ago we were festival buddies, sat through some films together, chatted during some breaks. He's the guy who actually shot large sections of the Inland Empire-film itself. Met him again during another festival this last fall.

I've had the DVD for a good while, but hadn't started seeing it. But now that I have a female Polish friend, it became a little more interesting - as those who've seen it may figure.
