Question about Posting News

I posted a story earlier today in the movies forum. There has now been a significant follow-up to that information reported, but I'm not sure if it would be kosher for me to post that, too. I don't want it to look like I'm doing anything shady, posting news about the same movie twice within a few hours. Would that be okay to post as a new thread, or should it be part of the old thread, or what?
