Buying max on a stock

I'm still getting use to playing the game in the new format, however when I had cash in the old format, if I selected buy MAX on a stock and I didn't have enough cash to buy 50,000, HSX would automatically calculate how many stcoks I could buy with what cash I had.

Has this now disappeared?  Because when I try and buy this way, the stock never appears in my portfolio & when I check my trade history, it shows "FAILED: Not enough money in account for the trade".

Any idea on this?
