Sometimes in Firefox this has happened to me:

For some reason, since I have updated to Firefox 19.0.2 the pages keep "spinning" and do not complete loading and then drop down menus do not work.

I click the "stop" button in the browser and then the pages stop spinning and the drop down menus work.
