Set against the backdrop of present-day Kingston, Third World Cop is the story of two boyhood friends whose lives have taken very different turns.
Capone is a police agent who has been transferred back to his hometown, while Ratty has never left Kingston, but has become the right-hand man of a gun runner.
As the two friends try to reconcile their pasts with the present, they head toward a tragic ending.
Third World Cop is helmed by Chris Browne, who makes his directorial debut.
The film stars Paul Campbell and Mark Danves, and will be scored with dancehall reggae from some of Jamaica's leading musicians.
