Nine Queens, written and directed by Fabian Bielinsky, stars Ricardo Darin, Gaston Pauls, Pochi Ducasse, Ernesto Arias, and Leticia Bredice. The story is set in Buenos Aires where a set of conmen are involved in a plan to forge rare German Weimar Republic stamps. The intensity of the drama is heightened as their seemingly perfect plan falls apart and the men find themselves in a desperate situation. Sony Pictures Classics will release the foreign language film which has won a series of accolades at the 2001 Argentinean Film Critics Association Awards.
