A Day Without A Mexican is a witty mockumentary about the impact of Mexicans on California's way of life. One day, Californians wake up to find that all Latinos have inexplicably disappeared. Chaos ensues as the backbone of the state goes missing and every business sectors collapse. Director Sergio Arau, the son of acclaimed director Alfonso Arau, expanded a short into a feature film. Yareli Arizmendi, who co-scripted with Arau, stars along with Caroline Aaron, Melinda Allen and John Getz.
