Description

Appleseed is a sci-fi-animation feature based on the popular Japanes manga. Set in the year 2131, the human race is locked in a war with an artificial race called bioroids, who were once domestic servants. The film utilizes a technology called toon-shading, which features 3D characters in a 2D comicbook look. The film is directed by Shinji Aramaki.
