NominOptions allow traders to buy and sell the hottest Oscar contenders with these exclusive Hollywood Derivatives centered around the 85th Academy Awards.

Eighteen NominOptions will be offered in the Best Picture category at H$5.00. The NominOptions will halt trading on Wednesday, January 9th at 6 pm Pacific in preparation for the announcement of the Oscar nominations by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences on Thursday, January 10th.

Each NominOption of a nominated film will cash out at H$9.00 if there are 10 nominees, H$10 if there are 9 nominees, H$11.25 if there are 8 nominees, H$12.85 if there are 7 nominees, H$15 if there are 6 nominees or H$18 if there are 5 nominees. Those that fail to secure a nomination will delist at H$0.00.
