Description

Winning is the ultimate goal for this dedicated soccer team. It is so important that the age-old knowledge of kung fu is called upon to win against the adversary. Shaolin Soccer details the story of a soccer team that draws upon the ancient knowledge of Shaolin Monks to add an extra kick on the field against the opponent. Miramax Films picked up the Cantonese comedy written and directed by Stephen Chow. Chow also stars alongside Lee Wai, Vicki Zhao Wei, and Ng Man-Tat. Shaolin Soccer was released in Hong Kong August of 2001.
